About Carolina Cupcakery

Carolina Cupcakery was created by Dawn Eskins and daughters Kyndall and Lindsey Eskins in their Camden NC home. Neighboring families such as the Gregorys, Jones and the Gallant families were willing guinea pigs in the creation of favored flavors... they didn't mind too much.

Graphic designer/ baker, Dawn Eskins, creates scratch-baked, gourmet recipes from classic favorites as well as edgy new combinations for weddings to picnics and birthdays. Recent demand for full-sized cakes has become her new interest, designing sculpted theme cakes.

The unique tables and counters in the store were hand made by Papa Bill Eskins, hubby John and son, Drew from reclaimed sewing machines and poured, polished concrete and glass.

Kyndall Eskins is a public relations major at Campbell University in Buies Creek NC and her sister Lindsey is a music student at UNC Greensboro. Both girls work at the store when they are home on holidays.

(nard-dog) Andy Barnard is the resident uncle and a regular feature at the bakery serving up his unique brand of customer service. Both of his daughters, Gretchen and Rachel work as frosting engineers.
